Adjust expectations and plans, and keep going.

A 1998 survey by UFT found that 1 out 4 public school biology teachers believe that humans and dinosaurs inhabited the earth simultaneously. I wonder if the ration is the same 20 years after.

There is a difference between respecting peoole’s sensitivities towards their believes, and granting those believes immunity from critical scrutiny.

If you are not for yourself, then who will be for you?

And if you are only to yourself, then who are you?

Humans: we are the dominant species.

Bacteria: you are so cute! When you grow old and survive your first 100 million years, then we will talk about it.

Purpose is in the future, and the moment we realize the freedom of the fact that life has no inherent purpose, we appreciate the now, and only then we would truly live for the first time.

Intuition is only important in the subjective matters.
