Thanks to all the friends who helped introduce me to sociologists who spoke Arabic. Within 24 hours, I got to know more than 20 Arabic-speaking sociologists. And if this indicates anything, it indicates the power of social media and its usefulness for those who use it in order to advance the world for the better.

كانت ثورة سلمية ضد الفساد حتى لا ندمر البلد

و لكن الفساد لم يكن سلمياً و دمّر البلد على كل حال

It was a peaceful revolution against corruption so Lebanon is not destroyed

But corruption wasn’t peaceful and it destroyed the country anyway.

الفساد لا بد ان يقتل صاحبه يوماً ما.
