2.5M years ago: homoerectus develops stone tools
300K years ago: people use fire daily
70K years ago: homosapiens travel out of Africa
30K years ago: Neanderthals disappear
12K years ago: homosapiens domesticate animals
5K years ago: money, religion, and empires begin
