120,000 Egyptian peasants died during the digging of Suez canal. They were forced to work. All that for 15% of the net profit afterwards to Egypt granted by France.

But then Britain occupied Egypt in 1882 and took it for free, till Abdulnasser nationalization in 1956.

The Suez Canal is Egypt’s modern Pyramids. It is a symbol of oppression and slavery.
