Arabs had no choices or voices for the last 500 years, and every time they try to speak up, they are crushed. It changed their DNA to self suppression now.

نحن العرب لم نختر Ų“ŁŠŲ¦Ų§Ł‹ لانفسنا منذ ل٠٠ سنة. و ŁƒŁ„Ł…Ų§ Ų­Ų§ŁˆŁ„Ł†Ų§ŲŒ Ł‚ŁŁ…Ų¹Ł†Ų§ŲŒ الئ ŲÆŲ±Ų¬Ų© ان القمع Ų§ŲµŲØŲ­ Ų¬Ų²Ų”Ų§Ł‹ من Ų¬ŁŠŁ†Ų§ŲŖŁ†Ų§.

I haven’t chosen to be labeled as the French colonials chose for me: Lebanese, to grow up in Abu Dhabi, to seek asylum in Canada, or to immigrate to the US. I was forced to. I haven’t made any self determination yet. So are most of the Arabs.
