Instead of talking about reopening schools, we should be transforming our education and work into mostly virtual space. There are tremendous great possibilities with such a change and a huge positive effect on environment and urban planning.
It is 2020, we are not going back to pre-2020 again. Give it up and think how you are going to build a great new future.

Why donāt we reanalyze all the street names, instead of picking on Hubbard alone, and see what needs to go or replaced because it was named after a racist, segregationist, misogynist, tax evader, islamophobe, xenophobe, torture supporter, occupation supporter, war crime supporter, anti labor rights, anti credit unions, and the rest of the list of unacceptable traits, because perhaps we wonāt find a name that doesnāt need to be replaced?!

White supremacy or racism are types of ignorance and therefore they are a by product of the weakness of the education system in America.
American schools continue to be segregated because of their geographical boundaries based on segregated cities. Curriculums continue to cater to the satisfaction of the āstake holdersā which is a betrayal to education. Teachers are chosen to fit the āenvironmentā of the students or the āschool cultureā which decreases their diversity. Topics deemed ācontroversialā are avoided in classroom. Teachers opinion limits free speech in classroom most of the time because of intolerance to intellectual opposition.
There are rarely any diverse schools in America, and there are rarely a true implementation of the curriculum.
Finally, the curriculum, although not bad, needs work and updating to serve the needs of the time.
